2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

The 2016 Reading Challenge will continue the concept of this year's challenge, with 52 weekly topics. Users then choose a book fitting each topic in order to complete the challenge.

How it will work:
The topics for the 2016 RC list will be determined through 13 mini-polls. Each user will vote for their favorite 4 topics in each mini-poll, which will then add up to the 52 topics (13 polls x 4 topics/poll=52 weekly topics). Suggestions for each poll will be open for one week (or until 20 suggestions are received) and then opened up for voting.

Rules:
- One suggestion per poll per user
- If you suggested a topic for the 6th mini-poll, please wait 2 days before suggesting a topic for this poll.

A "prequel" to a book series i.e. the hobbit came before the lord of the rings

A book with a redundant phrase in the title (i.e. Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter)

A book with a plant (tree, flower, etc) on the cover.
I already found 3 listopias on Goodreads :D

I like your suggestion Laura, the self-published books I read are often under 100, so I'd have plenty of choices for a category like this :)

Again, by anti-hero all I mean is a main character who does not adhere to the normal "hero" archetype. It doesn't mean a villain or bad guy as the main character (although, those would also work).

The Perks of Being a Wallflower was on my mind because a teacher there gives his student a list of books to read even though it's not required. There's a lot to choose from in that one.

To kill a Mockingbird is mentioned a lot in others books, especially in those about high school life

Jeanie, I totally forgot to include your suggestion. I have family visiting right now so I'm a little out of it and I posted the survey when I first woke up this morning. So I have to plead temporary insanity. But I can include your suggestion in the next mini-poll and it won't count as your single suggestion for the poll. So essentially you can suggest two themes in the next poll if you want to. I'm sorry!
