2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

I could not find a book that I wished to read for this week through Google searches, so I went to the stacks of my local library. I scanned H shelve to find a book that had my initials and sounded interesting.
I really was having a difficult time until I found this one. Now I am breathing a sigh of relief. :)

I have just started reading this one. It has a different feel to the usual adventure books. The man character is an actor who gets mixed up in an adventure. I do not really like him yet, but it is funny.

Will Hawthorne is the main character who is not a hero. He does not have a heroic bone in his body, but he falls in with a group of heroes.
They language has some modern sayings even though it is set in a medieval era. It was distracting at first.
I found the book funny, more modern take on heroism.
