K-Terror & Vicci ~ I've Got Your Number

Lol "Aren't footnotes handy, you just bung them in whenever you want and instantly look clever"

I'm nearly finished with Wedding Night and then starting this one.
Laughed so hard when she was winging together her son's project in the car at drop off!!!
“I trail away into silence. I've just shared details of my condom use with my son's teacher. I'm not sure how that happened.”
― Sophie Kinsella, Wedding Night

Sometimes when we are lazy here at home, we'll text - "dinners ready", etc.. HaHa!

Finished her Wedding Night while I was out & about. Her books always seem to start off frivolous but gain substance as they move along. Loved Wedding Night!
You got through it quickly!

I am laughing so hard I am crying!
Funny how she says it's like one of those terrible nightmares you wake up from and thank God it was only a dream... Only it's not!
LOL!

He is really going to freak out when he finds out...
The round-robin email and volunteering him to lead a marathon group cracked me up the most!

So, she got the texts thinking that Sam's fiance was cheating on him... when actually it was magnus cheating on her... :( So sad!
Now she is talking to "DAD" - the buddy always looking to start a new business and needing investment money. She is a hoot getting her fingers into everything and now trying to clean up her mess.

it's on my computer so I don't have access to it all the time - like all weekend...

So glad she (view spoiler)

I’ve lost it. :( The only thing in the world I wasn’t supposed to lose. My engagement ring. It’s been in Magnus’s family for three generations. And now the very same day his parents are coming, I’ve lost it. The very same day! Do not hyperventilate, Poppy. Stay positive :) !!
Poppy Wyatt has never felt luckier. She is about to marry her ideal man, Magnus Tavish, but in one afternoon her “happily ever after” begins to fall apart. Not only has she lost her engagement ring in a hotel fire drill but in the panic that follows, her phone is stolen. As she paces shakily around the lobby, she spots an abandoned phone in a trash can. Finders keepers! Now she can leave a number for the hotel to contact her when they find her ring. Perfect!
Well, perfect except that the phone’s owner, businessman Sam Roxton, doesn’t agree. He wants his phone back and doesn’t appreciate Poppy reading his messages and wading into his personal life.
What ensues is a hilarious and unpredictable turn of events as Poppy and Sam increasingly upend each other’s lives through emails and text messages. As Poppy juggles wedding preparations, mysterious phone calls, and hiding her left hand from Magnus and his parents . . . she soon realizes that she is in for the biggest surprise of her life.
