Variant discussion

The book I read (and finished) is "Variant" by Robison Wells. This book kinda reminds me of the book "Boy in the Striped Pajamas" because Shmuel is trapped in the Nazi concentration camp just like Benson and everyone else at Maxfield Academy. This book also reminds me of the movie Maze Runner because Thomas is trapped in "the maze" like Benson is trapped at the academy. When I put myself in Bensons shoes I think I would be shocked at first, and then as it progressed I would probably begin to grow uneasy or maybe even scared. There are 373 pages in the book Variant and I read through all of them!
