This is the thread where you can begin to discuss why you voted for The Dinosaur Lords and why you're excited to try it out. I think many people heard of the this a while back when George R R Martin endorsed it (at least that's how I found it) and he said it was a cross of Game of Thrones and Jurassic Park.

I think Dinosaurs in Fantasy is something very different and I wonder exactly how well it will go. I am intrigued about the writing style and development because I think it's going to have to be pretty developed in order to convince me of this world and plotline.

I'm looking forward to reading this with you all so thank you all for voting for it! Hopefully it's a lot of fun, or worthy of discussion because I've seen people both loving and disliking it and I feel we may have some mixed opinions!

Thank you all for joining me again and let me know why you all are excited for this, and what you're hoping for below! :)

Michael (michaeldixon) | 60 comments I'm intrigued by this book. I hope it doesn't disappoint.

I'm still trudging through Bonehunters (Which is a great book, but so exhausting) and will start this once I finish.

Maryam Hello everyone ! My name is Maryam and I am finally able to start a readalong on time so I will definitely participate on this one. :)
I have heard really mixed reviews on this one on the blogosphere but I still need to know what "Jurassic Park meets Game of Thrones" is all about so I hope that this is not as bad as a lot of people seems so think...

Understandable :) Bonehunters took me a while too, but I did enjoy it!!
And yes, I also hope it's a good one and doesn't disappoint. I'll try to start this this week!

Chernz | 15 comments Well the stars have finally aligned and I have the time (and the book) to participate in a read-along this month! I've heard nothing but good things about this book so far and admittedly anything that reminds me of Dinotopia has a huge nostalgia factor (did anyone else read those books as a kid?) so crossing fingers that this doesn't let me down!
