Julia | 180 comments I *wish* she would have just let go of the series. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts 1 & 2 broke my heart with how *awful* the characters had become (cough, cough Harry: Sometimes I wish you weren't my son.), and I don't even want to talk about Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald - The Original Screenplay

Me too. It was sad what she did with Cursed Child. The epilogue was so brilliant and she ruined it with Cursed Child.
I think Crimes of Grindlewald was pretty good. I didn't like the plot about Queenie, but that was pretty much it

Julia | 180 comments I just heard that Cursed Child is coming to Canada, and I want to stand out front of the theatre and protest it! I have many things I don't like about it, but one that stands out is in the alternative reality when Hermione is a miserable spinster teacher because she isn't married to Ron. So much for feminism when the original seven books had so many great female characters, regardless of who they were married to!

Macey (meesamacey) I see your point, but I think Hermione needed someone to believe in her so she could be Minister, Ron was great at that

Julia | 180 comments True, but if not Ron, *someone* would have believed in her!

message 7: by Macey (new)

Macey (meesamacey) Good point. But its not about being feminist. Its the fact that Ron loved her the most - more than any other friend - and believed in her the most. So therefore it mattered to Hermione the most because he loved her the most

Julia | 180 comments I mean, I get your point. I just want to see Hermione being successful, no matter who she is with... to evolve to be happy and successful even if the man she loves isn't in the picture.

Macey (meesamacey) Yeah, I see what you mean

Orlando Soto Jr. (iamtrophy) | 26 comments My Patronus is a Hippogriff. I don't need Pottermore to tell me. haha.

I loved The Crimes of Grindlewald. :)

Cursed Child was meh.... felt like fan fiction but I did go see the play and it was good. Reading the book was just ok...
