Marcie Rogers | 2 comments Mine is Goblet of Fire (Book 4)! It really showed in more detail the wizarding world outside of Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmead! Especially in a fun way! I also like to think of it as the last book where they are even close to being innocent. Because once the ending strikes and it's on to Order of the Phoenix, it starts getting more and more dark.

Chloe My favourite is Goblet of Fire too! I loved the whole concept of the Tri-Wizard Tournament and all of the new characters that were introduced.

^^^I Agree With Both Of you, I also really love the amount ofsignificance gabriella (flurs sister, noone ever remembers her ::::(( ))had in the books

Linda ~ they got the mustard out! ~ (linda2485) | 29 comments Mine would be Order of the Phoenix. Usually I can't stand politics in my books, but this one pulled it off well. It was much more layered than the previous books and I loved the whole concept of Dumbledore's Army that Harry and his friends start. Plus everything that happens in the Ministry at the end is just amazingly well-written.

Ayah (shadowkisss1958) | 58 comments Favourite Harry Potter book for me would have to be the Prisoner of Azkaban, it really gave me hope that Harry wasn't really alone in this giant world that he now had Sirius, I always imagined that Harry would have more happy teen years living with Sirius, but alas *goes into the corner sobs helplessly*

Linda ~ they got the mustard out! ~ (linda2485) | 29 comments PoA would be my second choice.

Goblet of Fire fans, I have to agree with everything you've already said. It was a great transition from young and just stumbling into trouble, to really figuring out exactly what is happening and why.

Alex Eichert | 1 comments The Deathly Hallows were my favorite. I liked how it showed the real difficult of the task that they had. Up until then, there have only been occasional times that Harry was in REAL perilous danger. It transitioned from Harry having everyone protecting him, to him being on his own with just Hermione(and occasionally Ron). But all of them were really good:)

Bengu Demirtas (bengudemirtas) Mine is Order of the Phoenix because in this book we learn a lot more about the marauders and especially sirius. also the ending was so emotional and it was the first book to make me feel so sorry about a characters death.

Imogen Reeves (purplegems3) | 16 comments My favourite is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone as it's introduced us to a world we (& Harry) didn't know before.

message 12: by Rena (new)

Rena | 9 comments My favourite is The Prisoner of Azkaban! Some of my favourite characters (Sirius and Lupin) get introduced and...I Don't really know why, but I love it.

message 13: by Suditi (new)

Suditi (the_book_farer) Mine is Half Blood Prince.
I love that because many of the secrets gets revealed and it's a wonderful book

Rachel | 38 comments My favorite is Goblet of Fire because there’s so much going on it it, including the tournament.

message 15: by Poppy (new)

Poppy O'Regan | 4 comments Mine is Order of the Pheonix. I love how it's not that dark yet, but is still really exciting.

message 16: by whylime (new)

whylime (whylimemco) I ADORE the Order of the Phoenix, for many many reasons.

1: Rowling has developed her writing style, everything is so consistent and smooth, as well as chock full of wonderful references to the other books in the series and a healthy amount of foreshadowing.

2: Harry’s sass is at 100%, beautiful beautiful beautifully portrayed teenage angst. And it is the most relatable, and real, book in the series, with natural human struggles along with the magical ones.

3: I’m mentioning the plot again but it’s also a favourite. We see Harry’s humble side as he steps up for the DA, and we also meet the most atrocious (and well written) character, Umbridge, who we all love to hate.

4: Harry’s constantly vying for Dumbledore’s attention, and this is just too real. This entire book is too real, I just... relate.

5: it’s the longest book in the series. I like big books now I cannot lie....

6: the finale, I just love the finale, although that death wrecked me.

message 17: by Kateblue (new)

Kateblue I agree with Order of the Phoenix

message 18: by Suncana (new)

Suncana Sonnenburg (sweatandyoga) Mine is the prisoner of azkaban because it gives you so much hope - Harry will get to live w his uncle and get away from the Dursley’s

message 19: by Olivia (new)

Olivia (siriusly-snape) | 11 comments I have no idea. I’ve switched my least favorites and favorites around so many times. Looks like I’m going to have to reread the series... again.

message 20: by Sripradha (new)

Sripradha Iyengar | 1 comments I like order of phoenix the best! so many people rallying around to support 'Dumbledore's army ' ... Learning defence against dark arts... working on all of this even though they have their OWLs.. I think it shows spirit... I think it also shows that children are capable of doing so much more.. when guided the right way.. taught things they can actually apply.. understand.. when they take interest on their own! look at Neville's improvement... I absolutely adore the book( except, of course, Black's death..)
and.. Harry's first live interest...

message 21: by Kit (new)

Kit Miller (kitsilver) | 5 comments My fave would be the Sorcerer's Stone. It's very well written and in my opinion the most enjoyable to read.

message 22: by Isabella (new)

Isabella Clare | 24 comments I've switched to which one is my favorite wayyy too many times. I think i need to re-read the series again to really decide.....WHICH IS TOTALLY FINE :D

message 23: by Luna (new)

Luna (luna13) Order of the Phoenix. It introduced Luna for one thing (& I believe has the most scenes with Luna) but it also fleshed out a lot of the characters. Sirius was definitely written more dark and it certainly hints how Dumbledore isn't all that perfect (to be seen more later on in the series) and Harry's PTSD was written realistically. Plus it has a lot of sweet Romione moments.
