Huge, beautiful horses each in an impeccably clean stall and fresh hay and water. Most are extremely sweet tempered, but beware the one in the corner- he's a nasty!

Shima | 322 comments Davina saddled up the horse she had chosen to ride. Her name was Kelsey, and she was a beautiful brown horse with a few white spots and a white mane. Of course she wasn't nearly as beautiful as Star, her horse back home, but she would do. Davina climbed up atop Kelsey and prepared to ride.

Shima | 322 comments Davina looked up at the boy as he spoke to her. She poked her head over to the stall to her right were he was saddling the neighboring horse Cowboy. "I was just going to ride in Pine Field." She told him. She opened the stall door, and rode out on top of Kelsey. "You can join me if you like, but I warn you I am an expert rider." Davina offered. She was always happy to meet another horse enthusiast, but she wasn't quite clear on if the boy was one. He could just be a beginner fooling around on a horse for fun.

Shima | 322 comments "Alright, I will." Davina decided to walk to the field, rather then ride, so she climbed off Kelsey's back. She lead Kelsey and the boy and his horse outside of the stables. "Oh, by the way I'm Davina, but you can call me Vina." She told the boy as she started to walk to the field.

((Switch to Pine field?))

~ Devine ~ Erebus walked into the stables with a small smile. His small flower crown upon his head as he walked up to one of the horses. The horses seemed to be able to sense his 'evilness'. He had spent a lot of time in here to get on of the horses to like him. He is now to the point where the horse will let him feed him and brush him.

"Hello?" Alex called out, a few stalls away. She had heard someone enter and was curious who this stranger was, going to investigate. She reached the stall he was in and smiled. "Who are you?" she asked, curiosity getting the better of her. "I'm Alex," she extended her hand to shake his. Now Erebus would see the redheaded girl, hay in her hair. It was quite an amusing sight.

~ Devine ~ Erebus jumped at the sounded of a girls voice. "Uh...well..." He stuttered a little bit. "My name is Erebus." He said and shook her hand. He felt really awkward. Once she stopped shaking his hand he walked over to the horse and began to pet him. He smiled and grabbed an apple, feeding it to him. "Its nice to meet you." He said with a smile to her.

Alex shook Erebus's hand, giving it one firm shake and then letting go. "Nice to meet you too, Erebus," she smiled, noticing his blue hair. "Is Thana your sister?" she blurted out, blushing a little at the suddenness of it. She didn't know what came over her, hoping it didn't come off as rude. "Is this your horse, or one of the schools?" she asked curiously, leaning against the wall of the stall.

~ Devine ~ Erebus froze for a second before answering. He couldnt really lie about that could he. "Yeah. She is my sister." He said with a shrug. He glanced over at Alex then back at the horse. "One of the schools. Im trying to teach him that Im not bad like my father. " He smiled as he lightly pet the horse. He walked over to and grabbed a brush before coming back. "Im hoping one day he will let me ride him"

Alex grinned. "Your sister is fun," she told him. "The actions of a parent don't reflect the actions of the child," Alex quoted softly. "You may be connected by blood but that doesn't mean you are the same. You know the quote 'blood is thicker than water'?" she asked, not waiting for a response. Alex didn't mean it as being rude, but it could come off that way. "Some people know it that way but there's more to it. 'The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.' Meaning that relationships formed by choice can be stronger than those formed by circumstance," Alex explained. "Anyways," she blushed, changing the subject, "I think I could help with your wish to ride this creature," she smiled.

~ Devine ~ "Ive never really met her actually." He said to the sister thing. "I understand that. Its just some people dont and it makes me made. I hate my father. He is jerk. Specially for what he did to Hercules and Meg. And my mother, he could have saved her from dieing becuse he is Hades but he just let it happen." He said, getting angry. The shadows around the room started to shift and move butsoon faded ashe calmed down. He looked toawrds her with asmall smile. "Could you really? I can seem to get him to let me put a saddle on him."

"You haven't met Thana? Who did you live with then?" Alex questioned. "Well who cares what others think, as long as you're happy with yourself?" she asked rhetorically. "You're mother is Persephone, right?" she asked, not quite sure if she was right. Sure, Persephone was his wife, but gods and goddesses were known to cheat on each other. "Wait.. your mother died?" she questioned. This made Alex believe that Persephone wasn't his mother. She brightened up. "Well yes, I can," she laughed, approaching the fine beast. She spoke quietly and in a tongue that Erebus wouldn't recognize, as no mortals and very few gods knew the old language. The only gods who did were Zeus, Poseidon, Hercules, and Alex. Others had attempted to learn, but had failed. It would seem that she was having a conversation with the horse, talking rapidly but quietly. Alex laughed and turned to Erebus, still speaking in the foreign tongue. She had realized her error and quickly switched back to English. "Ah, sorry about that. He says that first of all, although it says his name in Norbert, he'd much rather be called Deborah. Now that we have that cleared, he's nervous about how you'd treat him when you ride him. I was able to convince him to let you ride on top of him, but you cannot harm him in any way. He will not wear a bit, so you'll have to hold onto his hair. I'd suggest riding bareback, as he absolutely detests saddles," Alex explained seriously.

~ Devine ~ Erebus watched heras she spoke to the horse. To be honest he was amazed and a bit jealous. He bit he lip as he waited for her to finish. He listened to everything that she had to say that the horse had told her. He nodded when he was finished. "Olay. I understand. I dont think I want to try today or at least at this exact moment. I dont have to much experience but i have been doing some research in the library." He said with a small smile.
