Pride of Carthage discussion

I thought this was one of the BEST books I have read in years and was wondering if someone could recommend similar books? Wonderful book, had me engaged from the first chapter, it was the type of book I did not want to end.

How about The Ten Thousand: A Novel of Ancient Greece fictionalization of Xenophon's Anabasis.

look up author BEN KANE.great historical fiction writer.has a SPARTACUS series as well as a HANNIBAL one.
michael curtis ford's book on MITHRIDATES(i believe it may be called the THE LAST KING) is very very good.before then didnt know much on mithridates.AN EXCEPTIONAL NON FICTION BOOK ON HIM IS THE POISON KING BY MAYOR...
actually all of m.c.ford's books ive read and i highly recommend!!
