YA Apocalyptic and Dystopian Fiction discussion

Between the weird writing and the ridiculous amount of teen-love in this series, I made it about halfway through this book before I totally gave up on the series. I didn't care much for the first but this one put the final nail in the coffin.

I read the whole series - the weird writing bothered me at first, but then I either got used to it or the author used it less. I liked this second book a lot. The fact that she is finally "out", and on her own for the first time - dealing with her "gift" and meeting other people like her made this interesting to me. As to the teen romance - well, it's a book about teens, so I expect there to be teen-love. I was crazy, boy crazy and all that at that age. **shrug** Didn't bother me.

I had a struggle through the second book but the last book was awesome, left me with a book hangover. the lovey dovey was a bit much and the whining but all and all it was a good series.

I liked the series a lot that I even went to the author's meet and greet. The second book was interesting simce more revelation are unfold. Also, there are more action to the story. The twist and turns of the romance part will also pique your interest.
