Every month, there will be a poll in which we will vote for the book of the month. Then, there will be a discussion about that particular book throughout that month :)

Do you want us to start suggesting books to read?
Anybody like mysteries? How about "Blood and Groom" by Jill Edmondson? (No, I am not connected to her in any way other than as a contact here at Goodreads. I read the book, the first in her Sasha Jackson Mystery series, and enjoyed it very much. A feisty and sassy lady who is just learning the ropes of being a private investigator.)

Maybe we should have each month's book be a theme of some kind, like in February read a romance for Valentine's Day, December something for the holidays.

Here in the UK we had a tradition of showing ghost stories on TV at Christmas. The works of M R James were regularly featured. For me a Ghost Story for Christmas would be good.

Can someone think of the different types of books genres that are out there and list them that would be great. Also if you know of any festivals and events from different countries that maybe we could do a book of the month theme for would also be great:)
