These are simple, short pieces. Have not work'd upon that Sonnet just yet, but I have not forgotten! ;) God be praised if ye did enjoy these. Thank thee! :)

Timothy | 443 comments Sonnet III: Black Coffin opened wide for all to See

Black Coffin opened wide for all to See,
The lifeless form of one I loved so dear.
O, listen! mournful knells that soon shall be
All night long tolling for the folk to hear.
The lanterns overlight the old churchyard
To watch the coffin lowered into the ground;
Soon Frost shall grasp the turf already hard,
Decay ye have to face without a sound.
But years have pass'd herein do I relate
My dear sweet mother's form within my mind.
Still happiness fills all my heart and state,
As I see my small family so kind.
Love cannot be withheld by death or grave,
It stays alive within the heart so brave.

Timothy | 443 comments I am sorry for the sad Sonnet, but there are many others that are bright and cheerful. Some that are dark, I end with a note of praise, as Isaac Watts or Charles Wesley.

Some sweet day, we shall reunite with God and our loved ones, whom we cherish'd and miss'd for such a long time. We shall be within God's Kingdom, and all tears shall be wiped away. There will be no Death, nor Pain, for the former things shall be done away with. God shall make all things new. Alleluia!

I am working upon the last book of poetry, then, Lord Willing, I shall finish the unfinish'd fiction I have!

Timothy | 443 comments Sonnet Tribute Sundry Mary Kate

When April leaves to earth do fall again
As Autumn Season shorter grows each day,
The first frost claspeth ev'ry bone in pain
And soon the blizzard snows shall wrap our play.
That August day our paths on Goodreads cross'd
The last of Summer birds and flowers seen;
Along the group Real Christian scripture toss'd
And now chill Winter makes air sharp and keen.
But though the Seasons change and snow doth fall,
The Lord is working through thee on Goodreads;
Real Christian blooms, it helpeth us stand tall
And live our life for God through prayerful deeds.
Accept this humble gift from me to thee,
Live life for God, whom one day we shall see.
