Also, do you like the way the books were chosen this year, with one theme and one free choice? If you have any suggestions or changes, now's the time to let us know.

Never tried anything like this but would love to participate :) Have looked at previous years and the system seems to work very well,

Maybe this would be too complicated, but would it be possible to let the person who's choosing the book for the month also choose the theme? If it was my turn to choose and I was given a theme of paranormal, I'd be in real trouble, since I don't know of any paranormal cozies that haven't already been done here.

Maybe there could be a list of 15-20 themes, and each month's "chooser" could pick from that list? That way, the person who gets December wouldn't be stuck with whatever is leftover.

Oh, and you can put my name on the list for a back-up, if you need one for any reason :)

You can put my name on the list to pick books for a month. I enjoyed doing it this year.

Thanks Barb! I've set up a separate topic to nominate themes, from which we'll have 20 to choose from in 2016.

I should have stated that we'll take names until December 1st. That will give us time to set up a schedule.

I would like to do it again. Can be a challenge but you definitely get to research a lot of interesting themes and authors.

Each month one person will choose what two books we'll be reading the following month. One will be totally up to the person. For the second book there will be a list of themes to choose from. The person will choose a theme and a book to fit that theme. Let me know if you need more info.
