Madison and I will be reading this

I won't be starting this on the 13th. Just starting another buddy read today, so I'll be a few days late with this one.

That's fine. I'm in no hurry to read it

Still not started, and chances are I won't for probably another few-lots of days :p I've got exams soon, and I'm already so behind on buddy reads, just know that I will read it soon. When you start, can you post your thoughts, because chances are I won't have much time to discuss long thoughts because I'm so busy, and I'll just respond to your comments.

I'm late starting this because honestly I forgot lol.
I saw that there was 29 chapters and it's 455 pgs so I thought I'd do 6 chapters a day but those first 6 was really short, only taking 15 mins. So I'll read some more.

Amber is just completely stupid! I feel bad that her brother did that to her. I understand being trapped together for 3 yrs but what was awful of him. But then she goes and almost gets them killed over a freaking prada bag! It doesn't make any sense way she would leave though.
I wonder if a group of humans was able to get ahold of one of those ships? That's really the only thing I can think of (hide spoiler)]

Haven't read a post-apocalyptic book in a few days :p I actually hadn't read any for ages, then I read about 4 in a row, and now I'm reading another one. Had no idea this was a post-apocalyptic book. I'm finding it pretty simple. Hope it gets better. But at least the font's big, so I'll get through this one quickly.

Read chapters 11-15 I have to say that was a crazy few chapters.

I can't believe her mom is alive! And then my first thought was why didn't she look for her? I never dawned on me it could've been one of the nights she was scavenging.
I don't trust the New Hope people and not only because of them lying about the monsters. I mean he tells her to be quiet about them capturing them but what about the first one she saw letting them go? Has she forgotten about that?
But what's with the flashes? It's obviously sometime in the future if she's remembering getting trained. Also I think they're messing with her memories. (hide spoiler)]

I'm just about to read Chapter 10, so when I've finished that I'll respond. And after reading Chapter 6, I realised that your spoilers probably involved Chapter 6 haha.

It's definitely not what I was after, but I'm enjoying it anyway.

I can't remember them letting one go? Oh yeah, right at the start. That's why she thought they were Alien ships.
I think they're just making up bs about it being safe. Either that or there's something else going on. I don't trust them.
And the flashes are really weird. I wonder how it went from before to the flashes. Like, what changed? Maybe before was when they were trying to get her to trust them? Like a cult? Maybe they brainwash people to research on the Floraes? (hide spoiler)]

I'm up to Chapter 16 and I'm liking it so far. It's interesting.

I'm almost Chapter 19. Then 2 more chapters until I can read your notes. Are you managing 5 chapters a day? Or are you just reading when you feel like it?

I think I'll just stick with 5 since they've gotten longer

I feel like when she's 'deteriorating' is when she's starting to remember, and when she's 'stabilising' is when she's a mindless zombie. It's really frustrating! I hate people who try to brainwash people. Also weird how she wants to be a Guardian. Why? So she doesn't have to have kids? (hide spoiler)]

I can't blame her to wanting to take out Amber but she didn't deserve what happened to her. it's been driving me crazy with the way Rice is about baby's scar but now I know somethings up. at least it seems that not everyone know they aren't even trying to make people better. I think Kay and Gareth probably always suspected it becomes they just seem like the type. but I'm curious what happened to make Rice change his mind? spoiler> (hide spoiler)]

I don't see how they was able to say she was wounded on a mission when Rice and Baby was there when she was taken. I believe her mother knew that it wasn't all up and up when she would visit. I can start the next book anytime you're ready. Do you know if it's only the 2 or will a 3rd be written?

It's not looking like there is going to be a 3rd one. But it's weird just having two books in the series, so maybe there will be. If there was, though, it would normally say the 3rd one is untitled.
