Oh man! You have to tell me how The Bazaar of Bad Dreams is! I've been wanting to read that one for a while now! And I recently got The Walking Dead, Compendium 1! I haven't started reading it yet but I'll get around to it!

The Bazaar of Bad Dreams contains a few stories already released, which means I've already read them, but King says in the introduction that he has "polished" them up. I'm anxious to see if I can tell.
I heard that it was kind of a mix-up of some of his other things. Would you recommend that I read those other stories before I dive into The Bazaar of Bad Dreams?
I love the TV show too! I actually had a second of internet fame surrounding last nights episode haha. So I tweeted about wanting to find out what happened to a certain character who's fate kind of hangs in the balance. (Don't want to give spoilers just in case people aren't caught up or anything) and it got about 480 re-tweets and 400 something likes which made me feel special. But then, on the Yahoo news article about the episode, they featured my tweet but under someone else's profile who had just re-tweeted it. I was like 'Noo! I did that, that was me!' but then I got more frustrated at myself for getting mad about something so meaningless haha. It was definitely an interesting experience though!

I thought I replied to you but obviously I never did. Well that's awesome! I would love to read all the Stephen King books 5 times over but there's just never enough time! Good to know I can just jump into this Bazaar book! Thanks for letting me know!

Oh Jenny that was a good book run!! I have The Mists of Avalon but I have yet to read it. It's on the list though!
Mia, I hope you like Red Rising. I've heard good things about it! That's always the worst feeling when you forget your book on a trip

I read Mists of Avalon last year. I enjoyed the depth of the culture and the story being told from the women's point of view. There were several moments where I was ready to just be done, but all in all it was a good experience. I hope you guys enjoy it.

Thanks! I had someone highly recommend it and I am excited to read it! I want to read it over the winter if I can get around to it of course. I feel like it will be a good to read while wrapped in a shawl sipping hot tea. I'm excited to read it!

Me neither, and they have soo much! I will never read all the books I got from there. So much to read, so short a single human life.

Jenny, I will never have enough time in my life to read all the books I want to read haha.
Did you enjoy the TV show Kandice? My husband started it but said he couldn't get into it so I just skipped it for the time being. That being said, sometimes he and I don't agree on shows lol. I had no idea it was based on a book! I might have to read the book and then watch the show if it's good!

If you do decide to watch, let me know. I'd love to hear what you think. The theme song/intro alone is worth a watch. My favorite since the TrueBlood theme.

There you go!
And the title sequence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LD9td...
I did watch the intro once with my husband as I was passing through the living room and it was super cool! I'll have to check it out! I'm almost caught up with all the winter finale's in my usual shows so that will give me something to keep me entertained until they all come back on haha. I'll definitely let you know what I think!

It's the second book in Tad Williams' Memory, Sorrow and Thorn trilogy. I read the first book The Dragonbone Chair, early this year and absolutely loved it. It's easily one of the best books I've read this year, which isn't saying much, actually. Anyway, it ended with a massive cliffhanger and I've wanted to get my hands on the sequel ever since. I cannot wait to get started!

My latest acquisition:

yay! I an very excited now! And yes Dustin, my normal reading genre is Sci-fi\fantasy. it is my favorite genre for everything but I do have to make myself branch our from time to time haha.
Today, my mother-in-law gave me The Heart of the Sea. I'm excited about it!

So my brother-in-law gave me The Complete Sherlock Holmes for Christmas and I LOVE it! It's beautiful and even has plaid print on the inside haha. I've read some of the books here and there over the years but I plan on trying to read through this or at least most of it in parts over the year. So excited! And my little bro bought me a gift card for Barnes and Noble and I've been snowed in since I got it. Can't wait to go spend it haha!

Lisa, I have the leather Barnes & Noble edition of the complete Sherlock Holmes. Not only is it beautiful, but I love those stories.

I wish I could buy all of the cool leather bound editions!
Somewhat recently a friend let me borrow The Word and the Void and he highly recommended it! I am super excited to read and will hopefully get to it once I finish The Princess Bride. I have had a lot less time to read recently than I normally do. We've been trying to do a lot of spring cleaning and work on the house and yard to get ready for summer and it sure does take up a lot of my time! Sometimes I can't wait until I reach retirement because then I can turn into the old lady I've always been at heart and just bury myself in a huge comfy chair with a good book and some hot tea!

We've been doing some things to our yard as well. We replaced a few plants around our fences this weekend and my favorite thing we got is called a "Joey's Paw". Have you guys seen them? Here's a link: https://www.google.com/search?q=joey%...
It really looks like the hand of a baby kangaroo. It's so cute!
Yes Kandice! My husband and I always joke about how I am just an old lady trapped in a young woman's body. I'm sure I'll miss this young body when I'm old though!
Those plants are adorable! One day I want to have a huge greenhouse and a big beautiful garden with unique plants all over the place!

I recently got Zero World from the library. I've heard good things about it so I am excited to read it. I'm trying to power through the book I'm currently reading, A Clockwork Orange, so that I can read at least some of Zero World while out of town this weekend.

This one is definitely going on my 'To Read' list!! Looks great!

I recently started Art in the Blood: A Sherlock Holmes Adventure and I am very excited about reading it. I have been wanting to get my hands on this book for a while now because I am a huge Sherlock fan and I have heard good things about this book. Last time I thought about purchasing it, I found a hard copy I really wanted but it was 25 dollars (yikes!) but thankfully Amazon happened to have the kindle edition on sale for about 2 dollars the other day so I went for it. I've only barely started it but it's good so far!

I love Sherlock Holmes too. Someday I want to own The New Annotated Sherlock Holmes. I recently bought his annotated versions of Sandman Omnibus 08: Universo and he is amazing!

Last night I went to a Geek Girl book swap night and got the book Nineteen Minutes. Not the usual book I would pick up but it came highly recommended from a trusted friend and has good reviews on GR so I am excited to read it. Has anyone else read this/

In the meantime, I'm making my way through an ARC of Jay Kristoff's LIFEL1K3 and it is AMAZING.

I've read it and it is excellent and relevant. Just have facial tissue ready. It is very real. Worth reading. Just don't let Hollywood ever get it. They would destroy it.
