2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

My hometown is Machias, Maine. "Machias" is a Native American word meaning "Bad Little Falls", which is the small waterfall that runs through the middle of town.

I saw this book on a list a while back and the title caught my attention, thinking it was a coincidence because no one has heard of our tiny little town... but it turns out this author had so I immediately added it to my TBR! Of course, reviews talk about how awful the place sounds and how they hope they never go there, so I guess he didn't portray us very nicely. I guess I'll find out. I wonder if I'll recognize anyone...

It will be strange if it's realistic with true stores and people!
