Has anyone ever checked out this function that you can click on when looking at your bookshelves?

I only found it today and think it's really cool.

Here are my Top Ten most read authors:

Stephen King 39
Dean Koontz 34
Richard Laymon 24
Michael Connelly 15
Jeffery Deaver 15
Nora Roberts 13
Charlaine Harris 11
Tami Hoag 9
Joy Fielding 8
Terry Goodkind 8
Stephen Leather 8
Gabrielle Lord 8

No surprises for me with my first three. Just looking at my bookcases makes that totally obvious :-)

I'd love to see others share what comes up on theirs!

Wow, I don't think I've read a single Agatha Christie novel in my life. Maybe I need to check her out. John Grisham is someone who I own several books by but just haven't gotten to reading them yet.
I also own all of Sue Grafton's books to and keep thinking I must start them one day.....
I seriously love this feature!

Kate S Agatha Christie was certainly a master of her craft. I prefer her Hercule Poirot character and his gray matter. The little Belgian is quite a character. Others prefer the Miss Marple character, an elderly lady who gets involved in all kinds of capers. Either series has over 30 books and a slew of short stories to engage the reader for hours. Her books are also usually under 250 pages, making them just the right length for a stormy, quiet Saturday afternoon.

Sue Grafton's Kinsey Milhone (aka the Alphabet) series is a comfort read for me. I started reading the series when I was 11 or 12 years old and found I really enjoyed this spunky PI. I enjoy the fact Grafton has kept her series slower moving. Kinsey still doesn't regularly encounter cell phones or the internet as it is only the mid to late 1980s in her world. I re-read this series from the beginning a couple of years ago and there was a change in the character between D and E or thereabouts which surprised me as I had forgotten about it, but Kinsey's character is still an old favorite of mine.

There is a part of this feature under construction which may or may not return. On the right hand side, you can choose to see who your friends most read authors are and your friends' friends. They removed it (for now) because of privacy issues. If they can fix that, it should come back.

In the meantime, it is certainly fun to review.

Excellent! Another Michael Connelly fan! I've also read a couple from Peter James and have a few more on my bookshelves at home to get to one day. I still don't know how I feel about his books yet though. Harlan Coben is also a great author and it's good to see you like Jeffery Deaver too.
Looks like I'm really behind and missing out with not having experienced Agatha Christie I think!
