I say it depends. If you're talking about uniforms in school, I say that's dumb. If you're talking about uniforms at work then I say that's necessary.

The kind of school you attend AFTER Elementary/Grade school but BEFORE high school. DUH!
Caitlyn: In theory kids still in school have no rights from the time they step off the school bus upon arriving to school until they get BACK on the bus to go home. UNTIL high school. In theory, the 1st Amendment is only for ADULTS.
An easier explanation: Said part of the Constitution says we have the right to say "FIRE!" in a crowded movie theater, but practice on the other hand says we have no right to say "FIRE!" in a crowded theater unless there REALLY is a fire unless we want to be charged with either attempted manslaughter or inciting a riot.

Precisely. As a species, we are singularly INCAPABLE of doing ANYTHING that even REEKS of common sense.

But there is no real way to wear your uniform. Some girls tuck in their shirts other don't etc.

Arwen: Not in my school because I haven't gone to school since I did my college graduation walk down in December, 2000. Northern Arizona University didn't have a specific dress code/uniform policy when I went there.
And I honestly don't know what the policy is at Governor French Academy which is the ONLY school in Belleville, IL. that requires an official uniform, I mean as far as points/grades go, Blackstarr103.

I was in IHOP right across the street."
I never heard about it.

Besides, I feel like dress code leans to girls and we ha..."
True, but hopefully it WON'T be about what they are wearing because hopefully the dress code will disallow designer accessories... .
I went to a Catholic grade school where I had to wear a school uniform. To this day I refuse to wear a plaid skirt!

Not meant to be "fun." Meant to decrease distractions from what OTHER people are wearing and by cutting down distractions, increase test scores and "learning."

Are you a teacher?

From what I have heard, disciplinary problems at all three schools went DOWN after the implementation of the dress code.
