Diários da Presidência: 1995-1996 (Its a brazilian book, The title in english would be something like "Presidecy's journal". It was written by Brazil ex-president Fernando Henrique Cardoso. It came out a few weeks ago (i think it was 2) and is already on top of most selling books in Brazil.

Are there any books you disliked enough that you would sacrifice them to a fire to warm yourself up? Hands down The Alchemist. That piece of crap doesn't have a single redeeming feature. It's not even big enough to warm me for very long!

I had to think about it, but I'd say Cersei from A Song of Ice and Fire. Such a b**ch, but such a wonderful b**ch.

I'm not really hoping to receive any book, but any book would be welcome ;)

I absolutely hate Umbridge, but she's "only" bad, Amy from Gone Girl is truly naughty.

I went through the books I read this year and couldn't really find any character who is truly and completely nice. So I would say Auri, especially in The Slow Regard of Silent Things.

I wanted to be original and not say Harry Potter, but I can't.

I've read a few wonderful books, but The Night Circus goes well with the festive theme of this tag.

The Girl on the Train without any hesitation, even more now that it won the Goodread choice award... pfff...

Nice to see I'm not alone with the Cersei love! She's just so fabulously nasty, I love it!

Also, the Weasleys are the first characters I think of when I think of Christmas. I still want my own Weasley jumper!

I could pretty much put Harry Potter characters down for all of these because it is my most favorite book series of all time! Since HP is a popular choice, I'm gonna shake it up a bit and stick to books I have read this year.

Harry Potter, for sure.

What's the most wonderful book you've read (so far) this year?
I've read several good books this year, but I'm not sure any one in particular stands out above the others. I loved Born to Run: A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen and Finding Me: A Decade of Darkness, a Life Reclaimed: A Memoir of the Cleveland Kidnappings, and I'm currently really enjoying Big Little Lies.

Again, Professor Snape. But I'd enjoy spending any day with him ^^

I've never found a book I've hated as much as one I read in middle school: How My Private, Personal Journal Became a Bestseller. I hate that book so much.
