I have already finished my first, The Santa Klaus Murder!
(added later)
Finished a novella, A Highland Christmas, on audiobook. Nice blend of holiday feeling & village policing :)
These my ideas for this month - till the 6th of January actually: I hope to be off work till then!
Franco Matteucci Tre cadaveri sotto la neve
Elisabeth Laban Io sono la neve
Adalbert Stifter Rock Crystal
Rosamund Pilcher Winter Solstice
Daniel Glattauer In città zero gradi
Deric Longden Il gatto che venne dal freddo
Minette Walters La morte ha freddo
Seth Grahame-Smith Unholy Night

I'm planning on reading 3 books for the winter challenge
1. Hogfather
2. Round the Christmas Fire: Festive Stories
and one other. I would love to read a snow themed book but not The Snow Child or A Christmas Carol as I read those last year.
Any ideas?

Here are some of my winter/Christmas theme books:
Between Shades of Gray
Black Ice
Doctor Zhivago
Gone with the Wind
Shiver
Linger
Forever
Sinner
The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror
Vanity Fair
The Winter Guest
The Winter Horses
The Snow Child
Not sure if all of them fit the theme though:/

Finis..." How was The Santa Klaus murder?

How was it? I ordered The Santa Klaus Murder from the library.

It was amazing! I'm a sucker for a story with horses in it. I did cry at the end of it though, when you combine animals and WWII, I always cry.

Airs Above the Ground

Snowy counts definitely! I have downloaded Hercule Poirot's Christmas as my extra choice. I've not read Agatha Christie before but I am assuming they are standalone and not meant to be read in order?

Yes, they are definitely stand-alone. I'm not sure how good that one is but I like almost all of her books so chances are in your favor!
I read your review before ordering, Leslie. It was favourable. 4* for a re-read!

The Power of Your Subconscious Mind
and
Drop the Pink Elephant: 15 Ways to Say What You Mean - And Mean What You Say
I have the idea to change the genre in January.

I am struggling with this one but finished a Charlaine Harris in 3 days which is typical for me.
I just started Winter Solstice and so far want to savor it.

Just finished it. Nice read, but wasn't it a bit... Obvious? I knew how it ended as soon as all charecters were "on stage"!
