Joseph Taylor | 5 comments Hello everybody!!! This is a wonderful group, something I wanted to have discovered sooner!!

Here I present the the first novel of trilogy I have just released: We Three O.

It is the first of a thriller trilogy set in a world where human race has evolved out of three genders instead of two! Nothing has changed with respect to history and sociology just this "simple, basic" aspect!

The world is changing. In 2015 a lethal epidemic will kill 90% of human population, that will eventually endure thanks to Dr. Lyin Lawrence's discovery: the GAIAA Protocol, in 2020s. Dr. Lawrence decides to write this novel after somebody put HOR apartment in New York on fire in 2033 in an attempt to kill HOM.

What will HON discover? Who's trying to kill hom? Why is it so important to know how Dr. Lawrence came to the creation of the GAIAA Protocol?

Patricia (paguthrie) | 26 comments Sounds like an exciting novel--but, somethings left out in your post. What the heck is and HOR? I'm sure, if I read the book, I'll know what GAIAA Protocol stands for.

If you'd like a review, let me know. This sounds like a book I'd enjoy reading. (I only review books I'd enjoy reading.)

Joseph Taylor | 5 comments Hello Patricia!

The basic concept of this novel is to question what would have happened if humankind (and all animal species in general) had evolved with three distinct biological sexes instead of two. This implied that language would have evolved differently as well, for there would have not been HIM/HER, HE/SHE, etc.

Because of this, I tried inventing new pronouns and words in order to describe the "new" genders. I tried different solutions, none of which was obviously perfect. I finally decided together with my editor to use the words "mawons", "mawyns" and "mawuns", though they kind of sound weird - of course they do, as they did not exist before!

There are a lot of words that changed, too. Instead of "his" and "her", I coined "hor", "hyr" and "hur" to define possessive adjectives referred to the three new genders, and so it goes with "him" which becomes "hom", "hym" and "hum".

Kind of strange, I know. It is intrinsic into the very nature of this novel the fact that it sounds alienating. :)

About the story.

The novelrevolves around a dystopian future where humankind has been decimated by a lethal epidemic called Early Killer Disease. It started out in 2015 and the story begins in 2033 when Dr. Lyin Lawrence decides to write HOR biography.

Why hor biography? Because Dr. Lawrence is the inventor of the GAIAA Protocol: the discovery from which Dr. Lawrence was able to find a cure for the EKD virus.

Since HON made hor discovery, somebody is trying to murder HOM for still unknown reasons. All we know is that when the EKD epidemic burst out in Africa in 2015 the old scientific community fell in disgrace for scientists were believed to be responsible for the outbreak of the EKD disease. After Dr. Lawrence found a cure almost twenty years ago, this has re-established the role of scientific research over the previously hegemonic political power of the "Natuur-hearts", a political party who rose to power while humanity was fighting against the EKD virus 1 infections on a global scale.

The tale begins when Dr. Lawrence's apartment was set on fire on November 2033 in a clear attempt to murder hom. Hon luckily survived, but now hon and hor TWO partners live hidden in a secret location while police investigated. During this time of hiding, Dr. Lawrence decided to tell the story of how hon came to hor discovery and why hor private life was so important for this. What is told in this first novel is what happened before the outbreak of the first EKD virus in 2015.

I'd love to read your comments about it. I remind you that the book will be free for download for today at Amazon Kindle store! :)

Patricia (paguthrie) | 26 comments I downloaded the book onto my kindle. I have a few other reviews (plus my WIP, Legacy of Danger) to finish, so it might be a few weeks. My position is if I can give it a four-or five star review, I'll write a review. If I can't, I'll send a private note and explain why, but won't post a review.

Patricia (paguthrie) | 26 comments I'd love you to read Waterlilies Over My Grave, if you have the time. It's on Amazon. Not sure the cost. If you want a free copy of the pdf (if I can find it on my computer, let me know) It's probably better read on Amazon, although it does have its format flaws. I'm not sure how that happens, but I've seen it in a number of books, and have heard from other authors they've had the same trouble. It would be interesting to get your opinion.

Let me know. I'd love to have another review on there.
