My book club (for 11-18 year olds, roughly) now runs on 'themes'--we choose any books in a certain category rather than all reading the same book.

I have two themes in mind if I get to choose:
Disability/disease
or
Nonfiction.

Which one would be better? I know they're both broad categories. :)

Elena (elenalikesbooks) | 95 comments My book club does the theme thing too! We just did nonfiction, but the range was so broad I had to narrow it to just history. So if you go with NF, I would recommend picking something more narrow like memoir/biography or history or science, etc. to keep your discussion more focused. :)

Thanks. :)

I think the first topic would lead to a better discussion anyway.
