100 Books Challenge discussion

Please post nominations here for our 3rd group read this year. Start date will be May 20. Please nominate a book from the list of 100 books on which our group is based that has not already been a group read. A list of previous group reads is below.

Nominations will end on April 26 at midnight. If needed, a poll will be up for about a week after nominations end.

We currently have a tie on the poll!

Now we have a 3-way tie with just a little over a day to vote. Please vote if you haven't yet and plan to participate in the group read. I have an idea of what we can do if it remains a tie at the end of voting.

I voted for outlander but I am up for reading any of the other ones!!

I was thinking if it stays a tie, those could be our next 3 reads. They're all choices.

OK, here's my thought. Since there was a 3-way tie, we will use all 3 for our next 3 group reads and use them in the order they were nominated. Here's the schedule:
May 20 - The Outsiders
June 20 - Little Women
July 20 - Outlander - this should probably be a 2 month read as it is over 800 pages.

Let me know your thoughts on this idea, please.

Glad you think so. I'm looking forward to the first 2. I've never read The Outsiders & it's been many, many years since I've read Little Women. Looking forward to reading it as an adult. I probably won't reread Outlander, but may read Voyager. It's the next up in the series for me. Looks look 3 great choices.

BTW I was able to get The Outsiders for my Kindle Fire for $5.37. I'll set it up as our next group read.

Awwww ... thanks, Teri-lynn! You're sweet to say that. I do think that 3 great books were nominated and having these group reads is helping me to finally make some progress on this list. I'm loving The Outsiders!!

I have little women almost finished on my Kobo but other good books get in the way so that will help me finish it!!!

I have that same problem. Am trying to read Wuthering Heights, but keep getting distracted.
