The annual Goodreads Choice Award gives readers around the world a chance to recognize their favorite books of the year. With over 20 categories of books and more than half a million votes, it's clear that this award is in a league of its own. Here at NBRC, we like to utilize this award by making a reading challenge out of it- after all, it's what we do best.

Duration
Start: 1/1/2016
End: 12/31/2016

Levels
There are a couple different ways to play:

A Little Bit of Everything: Read 1 Book from each category
✩ Easy: 1 book from 5 different categories
✩ Moderate: 1 book from 10 different categories
✩ Hard: 1 book from all 20 categories

Category Demolisher: Read all books from same category
✩ Easy: 1/2 a category (10 books from any 1 category)
✩ Moderate: 1 category (20 books)
✩ Hard: 2 categories (40 books)
(In case you've already read some of the books, you can count them also, or read nominee/winner for same category from previous years.)

✩ Easy- 10 Books
✩ Moderate- 20 books
✩ Hard- 40 books

Come What May: See how many you can finish!

Amy:) wrote: "What does reserved mean?"

Since posts have certain number of characters, and sometimes we need to add something later (like links to your posts), we usually reserve few first posts just in case.

Thinks are easier to find if they are all near each other, than all over the thread.

Sometimes you can see people doing challenges needing lot of books, 'reserving' several spots, so they can have their whole challenge in one place.
