I just finished the very very fantastic graphic novel Roller Girl Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson . The book is mainly about 12 year old Astrid, but her mother is a librarian at a university library.

I just thought of another one! One of the main characters in Because of Winn-Dixie is a librarian. It's a kid's book, but it's fantastic and worth reading at any age.

Mindy Jones (mindyrecycles) I really enjoyed The Borrower. The main character didn't have an MLS despite being a youth services librarian, so we were even more alike than I had expected.

The Borrower by Rebecca Makkai

A very sweet book!"

I'm a SAHM who volunteers at the local library, so I thought I'd look at librarian books. So "Dewey" works for this? I've been wanting to read it!

Kirsten (kmcripn) For librarians, there are three series I can think of:

The Mobile Library series by Ian Sansom
The Miss Zukas series by Jo Dereske
The Portland (Or.) Bookmobile Mysteries series by B.B. Cantwell

Here are some of my suggestions:

-Lighthouse Library Mystery series by Eva Gates
-Bookmobile Cat Mystery series by Laurie Cass

I could go on....lol
