Angelo (angelominnm) | 6 comments Hey Guys. I just figured out I am finishing my 35th book on the list. Personal yeah!, but to some others, I know that is pretty small. I was wondering if anyone knows if another edition of this books is scheduled to come out. I apologize in advance if this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find it. I am just starting to become active in the group.

Thanks,

Angelo

Eadie Burke (eadieburke) There are now 1305 after the additions of 2012. I don't think it's been updated since then.

If you join Shelfari.com and join the 1001 Books Group there is a total list on that group.

Angelo (angelominnm) | 6 comments Good Lord, Eadie!,

You just made it more difficult, but more interesting. Thanks, I'll join!

Eadie Burke (eadieburke) The list is right at the top of the front page of 1001 books to read group.

b.e (b_ec_) | 5 comments I jumped ahead and started Ulysses. I have the first few chapters memorized from prior attempts. Wish me luck. If not, maybe I'll watch a Kardashian show and drool more.

Eadie Burke (eadieburke) Ulysses is tough. I listened to it the audio which was a lot easier than trying to read it.

Angelo (angelominnm) | 6 comments Hey Eadie, Sorry if I'm being stupid, but I am having trouble finding the 1001 list on Shelfari. Can you walk me through it one more time?

Thanks,

Angelo

I don't know about the list on Shelfari but Goodreads has a perfectly good 1001 list as far as I'm concerned. It's here: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/9....

Then you can just follow the spreadsheet link (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...). I downloaded the spreadsheet myself and use that.

Eadie Burke (eadieburke) Angelo: Go to shelfari.com and join shelfari and then check out the groups you want to join and there is a group called '1001 books ....' Join that group and at the top of the page of that group is the list of the 1305 books. Hope this helps.

Sandi | 227 comments I like to use the combined list on Listchallenges, because you can check off the books you have already read:

So weird, I just got on here to start complaining about this! I mean come on! The 2012 edition is nearly 4 years old! driving me crazy!

What is even weirder is that the official website 1001beforeyoudie.com doesn't seem to exist any longer. So I'm not sure if there'll ever be a new edition.

Breeze So Shelfari merged with Good Reads and I am assuming Shelfari will disappear at some point. So here I am, a Shelfari refugee, who just joined this group. Is there anywhere on it where I can find a comprehensive list?

The Listopia Nicola linked to in message 9 is complete and accurate. (In turn, the creator of the Listopia linked to a spreadsheet that contains all 1305 list books; this is in the information at the top of the Listopia.)

This group also has the complete list on its bookshelves, and also listed out in this topic:
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Hope that helps.
