Post your updates and thoughts on the book here!

Remember, no spoilers please :)

Emma Depping | 2 comments I've already read this book before. About a year ago actually! And i had it for awhile before I started it because I originally picked it up and hated it but in February of last year I picked it up again and enjoyed it more. I ended up rating it 4/5 stars because I really enjoyed the concept and Cassie's POV. However I really disliked zombies POV and sammys (his seemed pointless) I hope you guys enjoy the book! I haven't read the 2nd one in the series yet though.

I finished this book today, and I too adored it! Can't believe it took me so long to get around to it.

Has anybody seen the movie yet? Any opinions? I've heard they miss out some pretty big parts...

Lauren Humphrey I saw the movie on Saturday and they did miss out a lot of parts that are in the book, and changed some of the events so it was more appealing in the movie.
But I would say that it is an overall good film, the director and actors did a great job with it, with trying to keep to the feel of the book and how Rick Yancey envisioned it to be.

How did you feel the casting of Chloe was for Cassie? When I've watched the trailers I'm not sure she feels right (just in my opinion) but if she comes across well in the film I might be tempted to watch it.

Lauren Humphrey I love Chloe Grace Moretz anyway, so my opinion may be a little biased. But I thought she did a great job as the role of Cassie, I couldn't really imagine anyone else to play her.
