I will read anything and everything Sarah writes so I devoured this book. I can't say that it was my favorite. It felt like more of a throwback to traditional historical romances and there was emphasis on some supporting characters that didn't interest me. She has said that she's basing this series on The Kardashians so that's something I can get behind. :)

Emphasis on supporting characters means MORE BOOKS IN THE SERIES ... yanno? It's like going back and reading Chase in the first Scoundrels book is LEGIT.

I did love this book. I ordered it from her local bookstore. It arrived with a personal note (in pink ink, natch) to me from the author, a watercolor map of the areas they visit and two samples of artisan honey. I squeed appropriately! I might frame the map and hang it in my bathroom. Anyway, after reading other romances since Chase's story, it's such a joy to dive back in to her world. She is a masterful storyteller. I loved the characters and their dialogue. I cannot wait for the next one, featuring the devilish Scot buddy.

Ok, lost. Who is Chase? Is that a prequel?

This book was fun. I loved the beginning of this book, Sophie was so funny!

What happened to my comment? The question about Chase, is that book part of this series? This was my first book by her but definitely looking forward to the Scot!
