1. Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens *****

I may have just read the finest piece of literature I have been fortunate to read so far in my lifetime. These past six weeks have been absolute bliss.

2. To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf *****

Take the time to read this slowly to soak in the glorious language and imagery that Virginia Woolf conjures up. Another brilliant read by one of my new favorite authors.

3. Mr. Midshipman Hornblower by C.S. Forester ***

My first experience reading C.S. Forester was well worth it and I enjoyed the adventures of Hornblower. If you think this is just for men, think again.
