I discovered yesterday that Alex Kava created a prequel for the series recently that was included in the anthology, Sweet Dreams Boxed Set: Thirteen NEW Thrillers by Bestselling Authors to Benefit Diabetes Research. It is about her profiling, tracking and capture of Stucky.

I tried to find this on amazon and on public library website -- no luck so far.

Looks like it had a limited distribution for the auction. Alex Kava has her separate story scheduled for publication in October.
