Growing up, my favorite detectives were Encyclopedia Brown and Cam Jansen.

For this challenge, I just completed the second installment in the Sisters Grimm series, The Unusual Suspects. This was as enjoyable as the first for me. The series follows sisters Daphne and Sabrina, who are descendants of The Brothers Grimm, as they learn how to follow in the footsteps of their ancestors and become fairy tale detectives.

It has been many, many years since I have read an Encyclopedia Brown book. This should be fun and a trip down memory lane!

April | 6 comments I just joined this group and I LOVE this category. My all-time favorite growing up was Trixie Belden. My aunt had her books and passed them down to me. Can't wait to see if my daughter likes them too.

I just read Encyclopedia Brown for the first time. It was neat! I liked the format and how it gave you the opportunity to try to figure out the mystery yourself. I don't know how I missed them when I was a kid. I guess I was busy reading Nancy Drew.
