Better Than Starbucks discussion

Wow! I am not sure what to do. if i stop and clean u a thread to move it over, it takes an hour per thread. If i grab it and copy and paste it takes about a minute. as we are in a burning building, a minute seems better than an hour, but the problem is the length. most of our more enjoyable, and arguably valuable threads are rather long. December wasnt that long, but as you can see, it took for threads to build it! That is crazy, too

aha! i found i could post the first piece as the thread then add more pieces as comments.

I think these threads are going to be pretty much for reference only as they will be almost impossible to respond to, even more so than other as you cant comment at all within the string of posts i transfer.

That we have them at all is a boon! Thanks for rescuing all that you could carry.

Hi mef. Great to read your posts after a long gap. But then Goodreads does not inspire any of us I guess. Yes, Uplandpoet is doing a superb job trying to set this so we can all have a shelfari 'feel'.

We are still looking for an html guru or some sort to help us build our "Shelfari chatroom"
