Happy reading and mark your spoilers, please!

I read this whole trilogy when it was just a trilogy. It's not a masterpiece, but it is a fun read. I've enjoyed some of Showalter's other works more. I think it may be that it has a little bit of the preachy feel that a few of her more recent works have, which I assume is due to her faith having significantly deepened in the last few years.

In any case, I did like these books. It's an interesting twist on a classic tale and on zombie tales. I'm having trouble remembering exactly why I'm only lukewarm for these ones, because I can't say much more than that they were fun, but I don't know what's holding me back.

I'll have to check back on this thread later on to see if it brings much back.
