Still undecided if his book is horror or YA. Because fantasy is so crowded, he's unlikely to get anywhere. But I think horror is a possibility since it's vampires.

That's what I was thinking too. It would be awesome to get him over the hump. A rising tide lifts all boats. Or so the beat to death saying goes.
