Do you prefer your books to be in the first, second or third person? Discuss it here :)

Definitely first person! Second is just awkward, and third makes me feel less connected to the characters

First person for sure! Never read second person. Third person bugs me because it's like hearing someone tell someone else's story. First person is much more personal and relatable.

Except for the Harry Potter series. That is one series of books I felt was perfect for third person, and I am glad JK Rowling did so. :)
