VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE discussion

In a couple of hours, Preacher, the new show on AMC premiers. It's based on the DC/Vertigo comic book. I remember when that came out, I was 14 at the time I think. however I never read it. And when I was in art school there were a couple of guys there who were reading it, they showed it to me once and told me it was really good. But I still didn't read it. Well, I saw that they were making a show out of it on AMC and read about it a little bit on Wikipedia. Apparently, one of the characters on there is an Irish vampire named Cassidy with a drug and alcohol problem (LOL...that's interesting, not only does he need blood but he needs to get drunk and high too.). He seems to be a fan favorite. They just showed one of the teaser commercials just now. In that commercial, they show Cassidy put a cigarette in his mouth, and he can't find a light so he puts the tip of his finger in direct sunlight, let's it burst into flames, and lights the cigarette with that. That's funny! I tried to find that commercial on the internet so I could post it on here, but couldn't find it anywhere. Well, this show looks interesting. Can't wait to see it tonight.

I am really diggin the show so far.

I only caught the first episode, I have the rest on the DVR, but it was ok.

It gets better as it goes along. Things start to make a little more sense. lol
