C. | 51 comments Hi, I am also interested in gypsies since living in the Midlands of England during the 50's,and they camped in an orchard down the road. Loved hearing their music at night!

I could not find a Listopia list for gypsy 'fiction', so I started my own! Hopefully other readers will start adding to it, soon.

Hope you find some interesting titles here~https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...

this one sounds close~ Set in Stone by Aurrora St. James

BTW you can get these 3 books $.99 right now.

Werner | 2026 comments A. M. Burrage's short story "Between the Minute and the Hour" (1922) deals with a gypsy curse. (The protagonist isn't a doctor, however.) I've read and liked it; it can be found in Charles Keeping's Classic Tales of the Macabre.

Although I haven't read it myself (it's on my to-read shelf), I know that Deborah LeBlanc's novel Grave Intent revolves around a gypsy curse.
