The first novel in the Iron Druid Chronicles—introducing a cool, new, funny urban fantasy hero

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old—when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer.

Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries. Now the determined deity has tracked him down, and Atticus will need all his power—plus the help of a seductive goddess of death, his vampire and werewolf team of attorneys, a bartender possessed by a Hindu witch, and some good old-fashioned luck of the Irish—to kick some Celtic arse and deliver himself from evil.

I'll try to join if I can

I've started. It remind me a lot of Percy Jackson with more adult themes. I finished up to chapter 7 (view spoiler)[ I'm not sure how I feel about his book yet, I think it has an interesting concept but I think the MC is a little boring so far and I don't think the story about the stolen sword interesting. Flidais is interesting, if not a little generic.
Aenghus Og seems really interesting especially seeing as he the god of love and is utterly ruthless.

Also is he going to has sexual tension with every women he meets?

Chapter 12 (view spoiler)[ I'm still not sure how I feel about this book. I don't like Atticus I think he's boring which is strange because I do find the book funny. I love Oberon I thinks he so adorable.

Overall I don't really care about any of the characters (expect Oberon) and I feel that things just keep happening without any real reason like the thing with Bres. Bres just shows up randomly and get killed immediately. Same thing with the Fir Bolgs they came out of nowhere and then were all dead. I get that Atticus is old, prepared and wise but these attacks keep coming out of nowhere and he is completely unfazed and it all seems too easy.
Aenghus Og better be one hell of a badass or this story is kinda pointless, doesn't seem like Atticus can be beaten. I hope I'm proved wrong soon! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 15 (view spoiler)[ I want to meet Aenghus Og already. I getting tired of the games. I liked Brighid she was cool, but she took the death of her husband way too well. So Atticus is going to have sexaul tension with every female he meet ok cool at least that question is answered. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 17 (view spoiler)[ Well it look like were finally going to face the conflict head on. Yay! And I still don't understand why the cop were involved. I understand that they were meant to an inconvenience but that's all they could do and it was so easy to out maneuver them at every turn I don't understand why Aenghus Og would even bother wasting the energy to get them involved!

Mostly I'm just salty I haven't meet Aenghus Og yet! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 19 (view spoiler)[ I'm over 60% into the book and nothing is being revolved. Instead its is add plot points! Why is Granuaile, the random barmaid important now? Why is she being possessed by a witch? I have a feeling Lakasha is going to act as some deus ex machina to solve all of Atticus' problems (hide spoiler)]

End (view spoiler)[ I was kinda right Lakasha did solve a lot of his problems but The Morrigan ended up being the deus ex machina to solve all problems.

Over all I didn't really like this. There wasn't anything really wrong with it but I didn't like Atticus and that most of the characters were old and omniscient, Atticus especially, Only the actually gods didn't seem to know what was going on (hide spoiler)]
