Yep, he was!

Mickey is better looking because he wasn't punched in the face as many times as Hedda. And her partner was the abuser.

I am feeling like a heel now for saying Mickey was better looking.

I think she meant it when she said she believed that Joel -- the little girl's killer and the man who rearranged her own face -- would magically bring their "daughter" back to life. He rearranged more than her face, in other words.

Yeah, Hedda was a lowlife for not protecting her child, but she was horribly abused. Gotta have at least a twinge of sympathy for her.

Joseph Stalin and Keanu Reeves"
I think Stalin also resembles that dancer on Dancing With The Stars, Maxim something. If I knew how to post those pictures I would.
Wow Fish you're right, it's amazing how much Leopold resembled Leo Frank.

Now that I know she wasn't the perpetrator and seeing the change in her appearance, it's terrible. I have been reading up a bit on the case. It made headlines at the time but it's new to me.
Hedda Nussbaum's book, Surviving Intimate Terrorism, has a mixture of good and bad reviews with polarized opinions on her culpability which often happens in cases like this. Has anyone read it? Are there other books on the case?
