If you are an author, please give a list of the books that you are willing to give away for FREE, in exchange for an honest review.

If you are a reader, looking for a free read, look through the list and choose only the books you might be interested in. If you see one you'd like to review, please send the author a message through Goodreads, and work the details out between yourselves.

This group is created to connect eager Christian readers with review-seeking authors.

QUICK NOTE TO THE READER: If you do not like a book that you have been given for free, and your rating is under three stars, please contact the author before you post a negative review. This is not a have-to thing, just a firm suggestion. Even if the book seems lame to you, please take note of the fact that the author has put countless hours and thought into his/her work, as well as a lot of heart!

Synopsis: It comes to the attention of curious eight-year-old Alice Chattoway that her father is seemingly nonexistent. After realizing that his absence is making her mother unhappy, Alice becomes determined to find him and pull her family together. But Miss Chattoway’s answers to her daughter’s questions are vague at best and Alice begins to wonder if she will ever discover her mother’s secret.

Genres: historical fiction, Christian fiction, literary fiction

Keywords: Victorian era, England, family relationships, faith, romance.

It's perfectly ok for all ages, though I aimed it at upper middle graders through high schoolers.

Now that I have a minute to properly answer:
The Apprentices has
1. NO ROMANCE (not even a little bit!)
2. No bad words
3. Has been enjoyed by many readers from about 6 to 60, but was especially written with young people in mind.

I can provide a free PDF copy.

My very short book The Treasure Hunt is a Christian mystery recommended for 8-12 year olds but also enjoyed by older readers. No violence, romance, or language. ;)

Hi, Leona! Twinepathy has absolutely no romance or cussing (although some people are shipping characters, but the romance so far is non-existent).

Several of my beta-readers have read the story aloud to their younger siblings, which I'm not sure about their ages, but I know at least one is younger than 13.
