Louise Carlson Stowell I just wanted to say Hello and introduce myself. Druidry has fascinated me for years. In the 1990's I did become an OBOD Bard, but was unable to go farther due to financial strain. So, I started reading more on my own, and took a few leaves from Emma Restall Orr's pages and began my own thing. I am a poet living in the Rocky Mountains and enjoy the outdoors as often as I can. Healing is of particular interest to me regardless whether it is traditional medicine, herbalism, crystal healing, chakras.

Welcoming anyone interested in discussing their views, about themselves and their practices are welcome to contact me. I am interested in what people are studying in their path. Hope to connect soon! Blessings!

Lia (sylvanfae) | 1 comments Hi! I'm also a poet living in the Rocky Mountains! I've sent you a friend request. I'm in the OBOD Bardic grade, and I have kind of a personal focus on Brythonic Paganism, though I'd like to learn more about the Gaelic traditions, too (and all indigenous traditions - I'm an anthropology major and love to study culture and religion). Druidry has fascinated me since my teen years (I'm 40 now), and I love that it envelops everything I'm drawn to be doing in the world - creativity, arts, learning, history, healing, spirit, philosophy, community...

Nice to meet you. :)

Ellen Hopman (saille333) | 7 comments Lia and all: If anyone is interested in the Gaelic aspect of things you can check out www.tribeoftheoak.com. We are a Celtic Reconstructionist Druid Order. Members of other groups (ADF, Keltria, OBOD, etc) are welcome to join - we have members all over the world. It is a place of real study - for those who want to work towards Druidic initiation. We are based in New England.

GORDON | 3 comments Hi! I'm Gordon. I've written for some decades about druidry. You can find my two favorite papers at druidry.org. Look for "Wild Crafting Your Own Druidry" or my Mt. Haemus paper.

I was active in the CR movement for a decade-the term was invented in West Seattle with my then wife, Erynn Laurie. A lot of the early discussion was on GEnie and Delphi, prior to the wider availability of the Internet.

You might want to look at my Goodreads page for an idea of what I'm reading now.

I will be talking about my book A Legacy of Druids (Moon Books) and Druidism. (I had to write the URL that way or this system wouldn't let me post!)

Ellen when did you do that interview with me? Was it in the last fifteen or so years?

Ellen Hopman (saille333) | 7 comments You don't show your full name so I am not sure what interview you mean? I have three books of interviews out "Being a Pagan - Druids Witches and Wiccans Today", "A Legacy of Druids - Conversations with Druid leaders from Britain, the USA and Canada" and "The Real Witches of New England - History, Lore and Modern Practice".

Gordon Cooper. I've developed entirely new materials and paradigm.
