Skye | 193 comments How different does a book have to be in order for a second edition to be published or is it up to the author and publisher? I am wondering because there are a couple out there which I have the first edition and I wonder if it is worth the money to pay for the second. Thank you!

Sorry Skye I have no clue. Hopefully someone else can answer this.

Jennifer Priester (jenniferpriester) | 207 comments From my experience with second editions they don't tend to be very different from the original.
As a layout designer I recently worked on a second edition of a book in which all the author wanted to do was update either three or four events before her sequel was released.
