This adaptation has taken many twists and turns since 2009. At one time, it was to be a YouTube series and at another Columbia Pictures owned the rights and it was to be a blockbuster type film. The film has been made, but it is very low budget, low quality and wasn't made by a large well known production company.
It is currently airing as Video On Demand (VOD.) It is scheduled to hit select movie theaters on Sept. 30, but I don't know if that will happen...word is out the movie is really bad.
