What Are You Reading? (Sept. 2016)

Glad to see that you're still in book-land, Kenia!! I hope the enjoyment is outweighing the stress of buying a new home. :-)
I am still up for discussion on Oedipus Rex but I was waiting until you finished. No rush. I've already read it, and reviewed it, so it is reasonably fresh in my mind.
My summer was awesome. I was able to read very little but I made some new friends, and was able to visit with some old ones. It was a summer full of people and not so full of books, but making and re-making those connections was really lovely!
Right now I'm reading Jane Eyre, The Well at the World's End, The Brothers Karamazov, How Not to Die: Discover the Foods Scientifically Proven to Prevent and Reverse Disease, The Faerie Queene, and I know not what!! Yikes! I need to finish a few to get myself out of reading-panic-mode and back to sanity!

Yes! The enjoyment certainly outweighs the stress. We are both very happy. :-)
I'm happy to hear your summer was so full of people you care about! Reading-time and people-time occur in inverse waves I think--and I believe the balance is important.
I need to pick up Jane Eyre again! I haven't touched it in a month, so I wasn't considering it as "currently reading," more like "on hold."
OK, I will begin reading Oedipus Rex this weekend and leave the 9/30 finish date. :-D!! There are still boxes everywhere, but now that we're moved in, I've begun to revert back to a normal schedule.
Is anyone else reading (or already read) Oedipus Rex??

LoL! *sigh* Bookworm problems. ;-) I feel ya.

I, for one, have been incredibly busy...too busy for much reading, unfortunately. :-( But for good reason: My husband and I bought a house! It's a very exciting time...but simultaneously stressful, as moving just plain sucks.
Unfortunately, the madness that is buying a house and moving has meant I have not even touched Oedipus the King. Has anyone else?? I may be revising the schedule. Please let me know if you have any thoughts on this.
I have just recently started reading The Dream of Enlightenment: The Rise of Modern Philosophy for my local Philosophy Meetup group which has decided to do a book discussion.
How have your summers been?
What are you reading right now??
