Hello, I'm Josh and kind of new to goodreads but a friend of mine told me to check it out because I'm writing my first book! thanks guys I appreciate that. the whole "writing a book process" gets a little overwhelming at times so it's good to hear positive things to keep me going. I plan to release my book in about a year so I got plenty of time to perfect it.

Yes, it's nice to be able to take your time. Are you planning on self-publishing or going through a publishing house?

initially I wanted to traditional publish because I could reach a massive audience. however I've been turned down by at least 20 agents so far so I'm not sure at this point.

Even the best authors were turned down multiple times. Sometimes perseverance is the key. It is good to know your weakness in writing and be able to work on them.
