Thanks Kaylani. I was trying to go with the hidden gems theme for this year if possible. Last month I nominated Okay for Now Okay for Now by Gary D. Schmidt and some others were interested in reading that one so I was going to have it be an upcoming monthly read. Have you read either of those books you nominated?? If not, do you have a book you loved than nearly no one you know has read you would like to nominate?? I would be happy to have you pick a book for use to read in June - either one of the two books you nominated or whatever you want as long as it is YA and readily accessible to others (i.e. library, kindle, nook). Just let me know!

Kristen Taber | 506 comments I'd actually like to nominate Okay for Now by Gary D. Schmidt . I already have it on my reader thanks to Heidi's recommendation last month and I'm looking forward to cracking into it :). But I'm open to anything, of course :).

I am open as well but I remembered you were waiting to read it Kristen so thought I should mention it :)

Thanks! These days, having a catalyst to read something is always a good idea :D

Kaylani (cityeclectics) | 277 comments I have read both of them. Last month I couldn't think of any hidden gems so I went through my bookshelf and looked at all the books I read and loved and then looked at the list of ebooks i read in the past few years and realized those fit the 'hidden gems'

If you want to do Okay for Now I'm cool with that :)

Ahhh I got you now Kaylani!! If you are ok with us doing Okay for Now for June since some others wanted to read it I would LOVE to read one of your hidden gems in July. I checked my library and they have Blue is for Nightmares so would be good with that one if you are???

I've read Blue is for Nightmare. I actually don't remember a whole lot from the book so I might just re-read that if we do have that for July reads.
