Lori The library is the best place for free audiobooks. :)

Some libraries charge if you live outside the city limits, which may not make it an option for you. :(

Jack (jackworr) | 1 comments I use the platinum all-at-once plan which is $229.50 for 24 credits (25 if you renew early--a message will appear when you're down to around 5 credits)

That's 9.56/credit for the first 24, and 9.18 after

Then there's also kindle whispersync books. A lot of times the book will be 0.99-4.99, and the audio book will be in roughly the same range, so in those cases I pay instead of using a credit, because the cost of the kindle book plus the audiobook is less than 9.18.

This is especially true for kindle deal of the days. I've gotten probably 20-40 audiobooks through that.
