At the first crime scene where Damion was murdered, Sebastian found a woman's footprints. What suppositions did you start to form? Did this evidence element stick with you throughout the story?

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I knew the shoe print was significant, but I didn't know where it would lead and why.

That shoe print had me believe a woman was present at that scene. My mistake was believing she and her companion killed Damion and assaulted Alexi. No matter where the investigation kept leading, I never let go of this piece of evidence.

Joanna | 139 comments I knew it had to be important. I'll admit that when Alexi said she was positive she knew that it was a man's footsteps that was behind them, I thought LaChapelle was going to be the killer.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I thought the killer was a man dressing as a woman, which led me to suspect LaChapelle until he became a target.

Then I dismissed the idea entirely when Alexi said she didn't sense a woman there at all (she had good instincts so I believed her).

Giselle was my main suspect after that just because she seemed too stable. Her apparent sanity didn't ring true given what happened to her family right in front of her together with Marie Therese's obvious mental issues.
