Carolyn | 0 comments Does anyone else have a hard time keeping track of postings for buddy reads? unless that buddy read is put on this site as a 'buddy read' in the group discussions; I have a hard time keeping track of buddy reads. How do you track past postings; where the suggestion was made; other then 'copy and paste'?
also, I started keeping track in my evernote for buddy reads and just realized September 2016
Her Brother's Keeper, the first book in Beth Wiseman'sAmish Secrets series. buddy read with Diamond, Barbara, Laura P. I am starting book today, sorry, I forgot.

Diamond Jones-Cox (mzaware28) | 106 comments I forgot too! I have it on my Kindle under October. I usually create a collection on my Kindle or a folder on goodreads. I will start reading it this weekend.

We have different readings going on inside the "Fans of Amish Fiction". We have our monthly group-read and we have two people reading a book together in a buddy read.

We started in 2010 with our monthly group-read where everyone had the opportunity to nominate a book they would like to read as a group, have discussion, and answer the author's group discussion questions if there were any. Over time we have had less participation in nominations and discussion. The cover of the group-read shows up on the Fans of Amish Fiction discussion page and all the discussion topics are below when you look through a browser and not through the Goodreads app. Personally, I love the group-read because I like to see what other folks are enjoying. I just wish more folks participated.

The buddy reads came about because for some folks it doesn't take a whole month to read a book. They still wanted to read with someone else and chat about it.
