Deanna | 33 comments I'm Deanna from Tacoma, Washington. I picked up this book at the library, and just recently bought my own copy, so that I can mark in the book. :)

My plan is to read TWEM first, and then tackle Gilgamesh. I decided to do it this way in order to have all of my notes from TWEM at the beginning of my handwritten journal.

I also bought another journal to keep notes on the various history books by Susan Wise Bauer. I plan on reading the history books in conjunction with the chronological list.

Lastly, check out my blog on this reading project! https://thewelleducatedmindblog.wordp...

Happy reading!

Deanna | 33 comments I had to take a little break for the past week or so. My grandma had surgery, so I needed to take care of her. it's been a busy week!

Grandma likes to eat breakfast at 4 am sometimes, so I was scrambling eggs at 4 am with only one eye open! hehe

Soon, I will be back to my studies!

Deanna | 33 comments I started reading Don Quixote, and I am not sure if I should skip the poems until later. On the kindle version, the poems are missing the ends of the lines.

I looked at the Project Gutenberg copy (a different translation), and the poems are complete. Maybe I should just read the poems online.

In the Prologue, the author's friend said something like you could make up stuff, because no one would bother to check.
